Neighbors should have fun together! Grace Lutheran Church offers a free community library open to everyone.
Also, throughout the year Grace hosts neighborhood events to bring people together. Events such as Spring “Eggstravaganza”, Summertime VBS, Fall Pumpkin Patch parties and more offer fun for all ages.
Grace participated in the July 4th parade in Round Rock with a float focused on our Vacation Bible School theme, Shipwrecked. Some rode and most walked the route, passing out candy to children along the way. What an exciting experience!
We shared music played by our DJ and enjoyed dancing and a cake walk with our friends at Trinity Place Apartments. Yummy ice cream sundaes and banana splits topped off the party! We are looking forward to more fun in the future…maybe a July picnic!
The Little Free Library is located in front of the Wernecke Grace House. Books are available to all who pass by our property.
“Take a book, leave a book” is the theme of the library. If you take a book, you can return it or share it with others. It does not need to be returned to the library. If you have a book to share, you just place it in the library.
Currently, books range in age from infant to 5th grade. We are excited about this new adventure at Grace.
Projects have included neighborhood landscaping, quilts for kids in trauma, blue lightbulbs for our neighborhood houses, treats for first responders and bookmarks for school kids.
Getting to know our neighbors makes Grace a stronger place. A pizza party in the park with new friends brightens a gloomy day.
Date: July 22-25.
Four fun-filled evenings every summer. Take a wonderful Bible story mix in music, dance, crafts, friends and fun.
That is VBS! It’s a great way to make new friends.
