Sunday the 11th Grace took part in God’s Work, Our Hands Sunday in which over 1000 congregations performed a variety of tasks and gave back to the communities where they serve.
Grace Lutheran Church in Round Rock, TX stepped in to provide yard work for a friend of the congregation who is battling cancer, made a quilt for a member of the congregation undergoing medical trials and awaiting a stem cell transplant for bone marrow replacement and visited a local senior center to provide worship, gospel and song for the residents.
It is through giving and serving that we show what God’s message is for all people and also keep our own faith strong.
